The King's Parade

This grand parade represents the commencement of the Woldhaven Invitational as well as serves as a formal introduction of the Realms to the Silver Kingdom. The formal introduction is to some extent the first competition of the Woldhaven Invitational, where each Realm demonstrates its grandeur through heraldry, pomp, and circumstance. This includes banners and flags, standards and shields, horns and drums, and other similar decorative or impressive objects presented proudly by the competitors in honor of themselves and their Realm. All competitors will be given the opportunity to present their Realm to the full assembly.

This gathering is also a good opportunity for initial contacts with visitors from other Realms, in order to size them up for the contests that will follow. Often, these first contacts provide the core of a challenge brought or an alliance sealed later during the Games.

For those competitors that are not yet affiliated with any particular Realm, this gathering provides the perfect opportunity to determine where their skills might be best appreciated and rewarded, so they might choose their allegiance for the games. A Games official will be on hand to record any allegiances.

The Opening Ceremony and Reception requires no entry fee.  The prizes for this competition are as follows:
